Languages Open Doors
Spanish opens many doors to the student. It helps the student get into a 4-yr University with more ease; CSU's' require 2, preferable 3-yrs of Spanish. UC Schools require 3, preferably 4-yrs of Spanish. Taking AP Spanish and passing the AP test earns the student college credits.
Spanish Improves Job Prospects
Living in California, speaking Spanish is a must. The job market prefers bilingual workers to help reach markets otherwise unreachable to them. Our Curriculum is designed to satisfy the general requirments for entry into the UC and CSU schools. By using various methods and approaches to teaching and learning the language, we strive to reach every type of learner.
Our curriculum is closely linked to the Common Core Standards. it is our goal to prepare each of our students to be effective, responsible, positive, and productive citizens. We encourance all parents to stay invloved in their student's day to day school activities and oblications. We enjoy maintaining open communication with parents and guardians.

Our language department has developed many effective strategies to hep students achieve proficiency in Spanish. Interactive notebooks, videos, listening activities projects, and presentations are but a few activities students are exposed to while learning the language.
- Spanish I, II, III, IV, & AP Spanish Language and Culture
World Language Honor Cords (Green) Requirements:
- 6 semesters of "A" work without a "U"
- 2 World Language teacher recommendations
- no grade lower than a "B"
- minimum GPA of 3.75
